The Wild Men and the Moors tapestry, of which part
is shown, is typical of other fourteenth and fifteenth
century allegorical pieces woven in south Germany.
The amorials in the lower border are those of Zorn
von Bulach or Zorn von Plobsheim and Blumel or
Blumlein, which were all powerful Strasbourg families
at the time...art, art history, Paul Marc Washington, paleoneolithic@yahoo.com
